Without trying to read too much into one victory. I think this is the beginning of world dominination in College football for A&M. So what if it was a baseball score! So what if we did not cross the 50 but twice the entire game. So what if the other quarterback was obviously still suffering from an injury sustained two weeks ago. A victory it was and a victory was sorely needed.
Let us joyfully revel in this moment. It may not occur for quite some time.

I'm one of the pastors at First United Methodist Church in Lexington, Kentucky where I've served for the past twelve years. My wife Susan and I have three children: Madelyn, Marshall and Melisa. When we aren't attending a ballet or ballgame somewhere, you can find us...oh who am I kidding... this season of life always finds us at a ballgame (Marshall and Melisa) or a ballet (somewhat less now that Madelyn is living in Anapolis, MD.). The sub-title of this blog is "Grace is no accident" which happens to be the defining reality of my life. God's grace (gift) is the reason we have breath in our lungs and hope in our hearts.
