Signs of a church

From above linked article:

“Not so long ago, some techies proclaimed that communications technology and the Web would make geography irrelevant. In fact, the opposite is true: Talented people keep congregating in cities because they understand intuitively that working with other talented people spurs them to be even more creative.

For the first time, people aspire–even expect–to do work they love and to live in a community where they can be themselves.

Talented people congregating…in Christianese speak, “seeking community from which to be and do all they were created by God to be.” This is also exactly what the church should be. A hub of people, inspiring one another, challenging one another, loving one another, helping one another, and being family in order for us all to live up to our God given capabilities and therefore usher in the Kingdom of Heaven.

How can we make this happen within the congregations we are apart of? How do we take the next step?
