For Lawyers, Perks to Fit a Lifestyle – New York Times

This story is less about perks and more about people. And isn’t that what it is all about anyway? People are the most important part of every business, organization, and/or group. A group of people, completely sold out to a certain cause are unstoppable in my opinion. If we want the world to change, we must find a way to pull together and work for the common good. At some point, the big C Church must find a way to work together and complement each other rather than compete against each other.

I, for one, think it is do-able. I have met very few clergy types who are NOT interested in pulling together for the common good. In fact, I think we long for the comraderie and “team” dynamics that comes with working alongside other people.

The real question is “how”. This is one of those things that is much easier said than done.
