The best case yet for helping Pastor’s stick to proclaiming Jesus and not trying to influence elections. Should we be involved personally? Yes. I'm one of the pastors at First United Methodist Church in Lexington, Kentucky where I've served for the past twelve years. My wife Susan and I have three children: Madelyn, Marshall and Melisa. When we aren't attending a ballet or ballgame somewhere, you can find us...oh who am I kidding... this season of life always finds us at a ballgame (Marshall and Melisa) or a ballet (somewhat less now that Madelyn is living in Anapolis, MD.). The sub-title of this blog is "Grace is no accident" which happens to be the defining reality of my life. God's grace (gift) is the reason we have breath in our lungs and hope in our hearts.
